my smoke in the air

walking the street
behind those light
alone in the night
smoke and shadow
follow me endlessly
but recently
my chest in great pain
like there's no air
like there's no tomorrow
yesterday
i vomit twice
with blood in it
a lot
and recently i always
grasping for the air
